Ongol-Ongol Hunkwe

I’m Ellyani Safitri will share again to the  readers about ours  local foods. The foods that has become a common foods for us. For this discussion I will share the food that is usually always there for iftar menu. Yap, my mother is out with a menu that I like to break the fast, we call it the sweet soft-ongol ongol.

Ongol-ongol is a flour-based foods. This food is a food that is simple, but behind its simplicity it ongol-ongol has a soft texture and delicious flavor.On the other hand, it turns out that the snacks market is not too difficult to make. That means readers can easily try to make it by yourself .The basic material of ongol-ongol
is also very varied, for example from corn starch, sweet potato, cassava, bananas, rice noodles, hunkwe, so on. At this time I'm going to share information ongol-ongol with basic ingredients hunkwe. Let's find out the recipe and how to make it.

Materials:
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1 packet of flour hunkwe
• Sago starch
• 115 gr sugar
• pandan leaves
• 125 grams of brown sugar
• 800 ml of boiled water
• 200 grams of coarse grated coconut and salt as supplementary material

How to make:

1. Mix the salt with grated coconut, stir until well blended. Steamed for about 15 minutes. Set aside.
2. Mix the corn starch and flour hunkwe, stir while pouring a little water.
3. Mix sugar and pandan leaves in a different container, pour enough water. Cook over low heat, stirring, stirring until sugar is dissolved, remove from heat. Pour while filtered into a container that contains corn starch and flour dough hunkwe earlier. Stir until well blended.
4. Cook the dough mixture over low heat, stirring constantly until the dough so translucent color brown.
5. After that, pour the hot dough into prints of or pan. Let stand until frozen solid or so alone.
